v As Manager, Risk Management/Patient Relations, you will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of the activities and functions of a department.

v Participate in department strategic planning and contributes to its success through effectively communicating goals and expectations to staff.

v Ensure effective use of system resources.

v Provide functional expertise essential to staff and leadership.

v Ensure expenses do not exceed budget. Participate in standards of practice and process improvement activities.

v Oversee staffing matrices and possesses authority to hire, conduct performance evaluations, and discipline employees.

v Ensure policy and procedures are followed by staff.

This position is eligible to participate in the Manager incentive Plan.

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree plus five years healthcare experience.
  • Two years leadership experience in a healthcare setting including familiarity with clinical and business practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated use of performance improvement techniques, applied statistical concepts, and information management.
  • Demonstrates success in CAL survey process with knowledge of JCAHO, Title 22 and other state and federal standards.

Required Certification/Registration:

  • Current California RN License.

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Pay Range:
$56.98-$85.49/hour
