School-Based Speech Language Pathologist

A school in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their Special Education team for the upcoming school year. As an SLP, you will be instrumental in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in both children and adults.
Position Details:
- Full-Time position with 37.5 hours per week commitment
- Work onsite with Autistic/Behavioral/Emotional Support students from K to 12th grade
- Compensation ranging from $35 to $60 per hour, based on prior experience
Requirements:
- Must possess a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Pennsylvania SLP-CCC License is a must
- Willingness to complete necessary credentialing items (Background Check, Drug Screen, TB Test, etc.)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is desirable
General Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Create customized treatment plans with specific goals for each student
- Provide evidence-based therapy to students with various communication challenges
