Company: Temple Health
Directs the nursing care on a nursing unit, ensuring high standards of service excellence and nursing practice. Develops evidence-based policies, procedures, and work processes to guarantee quality patient care.
- Responsible for staffing, budget, controlling expenses, and managing supplies and equipment.
- Oversees the continuing development, education, and performance improvement of staff.
- Supervises, evaluates, guides, and counsels nursing staff in their work performance.
National certification in Nursing or a Healthcare related specialty is preferred.
Education
Bachelors Degree : Nursing (Required)
Masters Degree : Nursing or a Healthcare related field (Required)
Other : Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Required). A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience
5 Years experience as a RN in a clinical specialty area (Required)
1 Year experience in a clinical leadership role (Preferred)
License/Certifications
BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required
- RN-LIC
- PA Registered Nurse License (Required)
