Assists with patient care, performs clerical functions and maintains and promotes a safe, clean and organized environment for the delivery of patient care.


Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations at a level preferably acquired through completion of a high school education or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a pediatric healthcare environment preferred.


 Current CPR certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross is required.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to gather and share information with physicians, patients, visitors, families, and team members in a courteous and confidential manner.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills necessary to work in a fastpaced environment with multiple tasks done simultaneously.
  • Physical ability to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as push and pull when performing cleaning functions.
  • Frequently bends, lifts, twists, reaches, and squats.
  • Occasionally push/pulls and does overhead work, including splint cart and patients in wheelchair.


The schedule for this position would be 4-5 days a week; preferably 1-5pm if M-F OR 1-6pm if 4 days a week.
