Huron Regional Medical Center, a 25-bed critical access hospital in South Dakota, is looking for a talented individual to join their team. Situated in the heart of South Dakota, HRMC offers cutting-edge healthcare services to residents in Huron and surrounding counties. Job Details

  • Position: Leader in Facility Services
  • Reports To: Vice President of Quality/Risk
  • Status: Full-time
  • Shift: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
  • Weekly Hours: 40 hours
  • Remote Work: Not Available
  • Salary: Competitive

Responsibilities

HRMC is in search of a proactive, creative, and forward-thinking leader to join their team. This role involves overseeing facility services, providing guidance and supervision, managing operations, maintenance, safety, security, and ensuring the effectiveness of all systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preserving the organization's assets, coordinating construction activities, and setting performance standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S) degree with at least 5 years of facility services experience
  • 5+ years of experience in hospital facilities or property management preferred

Skills and Abilities

  • Understanding of engineering specifications, building regulations, and safety codes in healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local standards for healthcare facilities
  • Strong communication skills for internal and external interactions
  • Physical capabilities for job demands, including standing, lifting, and various physical activities
