JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner - Women's Health
DESCRIPTION
Are you a skilled Nurse Practitioner with a passion for Women's Health? Decypher is looking for a dedicated professional to support Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) - Lackland AFB. Join our team and play a crucial role in assessing and providing quality care to women in need while collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess women and develop individualized care plans
- Diagnose and treat OB-GYN conditions within scope of practice
- Collaborate with physicians for patient management
- Coordinate care with healthcare professionals and agencies
- Document patient observations and treatments
- Participate in peer review and quality improvement processes
- Provide advice and consultation to clients and families
- Refer clients to appropriate services when needed
- Perform screening and diagnostic procedures
- Prescribe therapies in line with standards of care
- Communicate effectively with healthcare team and patients
- Participate in committees and medical readiness activities
- Deliver a full range of nurse practitioner services
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree: Master's degree in nursing
- Education: Graduate from an accredited academic program in nursing specialty
- Certification: Certified Nurse Practitioner with relevant specialty certifications
- Experience: Minimum of two years in the specialty within the last three years
- Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted nurse practitioner license
