The Opportunity

Ulteig is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Renewables Electrical Engineer. The Engineer acts as a project lead onwind and battery energy storage (BESS) projects. They are a technical leader and applies standard engineering techniques and procedures on complex projects.

What You'll Do

Plans, schedules, conducts and/or coordinates detailed phases of assigned project work. Makes design recommendations, adaptations and modifications for utility substations, plans, elevations, and details and other drawings associated. Performs calculations using engineering formulas and skills. Mentors and provides technical guidance to other engineers.

What We Expect from You
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent required
  • PE or P.Eng. license preferred
  • 5+ years of engineering experience preferred
  • Ability to perform AC & DC studies using electrical modelling software
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), National Electrical Safety Code (NESC), and industry standards a plus
  • Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to work in a high-paced team environment
  • Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States

Additional Opportunity Details:
Compensation Range is Generally +/- 15% of Position Mid-Point of $121,000*
