Responsibilities:
  • Sets up sterile table with necessary supplies.
  • Assists in draping the patient.
  • Maintains aseptic conditions during procedures.
  • Coordinates surgical schedules in an ambulatory setting.
  • Assists in marketing and practice development.
  • Scribes for the provider in outpatient clinics.
  • Performs post-op follow-up calls.

Requirements:
  • Completion of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Surgical Technology Program or equivalent.
  • Surgical Technologist certification (CST or TS-C) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Qualifications:
  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience:
  • No prior experience required.
Physical Demands:
  • Requires full range of motion and ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and work under stressful conditions.
  • Exposure to communicable diseases may occur.
PPE:
  • Adheres to standard precautions and uses PPE as needed.
