Vitalant is seeking a Blood Bank Order Fulfillment Technician (Hospital Distribution Technician) dedicated to making a positive difference.As a Hospital Distribution Technician, your impact as a is vital You will support Vitalant's life-saving mission by managing the inventory of blood and blood products and facilitating the packaging and shipment to hospitals and patients.

What to Expect:
Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday 9pm to 07:30am
As a Hospital Distribution Technician, you'll get to:
- Receive quality, comprehensive and thorough paid training for your role.
- Receive, prepare, and ship routine and STAT orders of blood and blood products, selecting appropriate blood components, and ensuring order accuracy.
- Supports logistics by scheduling third-party carrier pickups, monitoring product movement, and addressing customer concerns regarding order fulfilment, turnaround times, and product availability.
- Maintain accurate records for transactions.
- Monitor all storage requirements, service equipment and maintain pickup area.

Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Valid in-state driver's license
- Six months of customer service experience required
- Prior healthcare industry experience preferred
- Able to lift 40lbs
