Locum FM/IM

Locum FM/IM Physician position available in Las Animas, CO to work with a reputable healthcare organization. **Client Benefits:**
- Covering all travel expenses including flight, rental car, or mileage reimbursement, and lodging.
**Requirements:**
- Board Certification with active DEA, ACLS, BLS
- Must hold a CO License
- Medicaid enrollment is a must, assistance available if needed.
**Credentialing:**
- Process takes up to 3 weeks.
**Start Date:**
- September 5th.
**Duration:**
- September to December 8th.
**Work Schedule:**
- Option for either 4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts.
- No on-call duties and no weekend shifts.
**Practice Setting:**
- Outpatient clinic with inpatient responsibilities at a nursing home.
**EMR in Use:**
- NextGen.
**Additional Notes:**
This role is distinctive as the physician will have the flexibility to work either 4/10-hour shifts or 5/8-hour shifts at the clinic, in addition to conducting rounds at a nursing home once a week. There may be rounds at up to 3 nursing homes in a single day, with responsibilities including basic rounds, medication management, and wellness assessments.
