The role reports to the TMC Transport and Trade Specialist and is located in Byhalia, Mississippi. As a Quality Auditor, you will be responsible for performing daily quality checks, pallet audits/inspection, and work with teams to monitor OB loads and process control. The individual will be maintaining the Quality System procedures and policies to include document control.
Your responsibilities
- Perform Daily Quality Checks
- Aid in Maintaining the Quality System Procedures and Policies
- Organizing of Quality Records
- Support Training Personnel on Quality Criteria
- Facilitate Rework and Disposition of product
- Re-Inspection of Reworked Product
- Monitor Process Controls
- Quality Audits
- Data Entry
- Act as a Liaison for Production and Quality
- Special Projects
- High School education or equivalent
- Basic Math skills
- Minimum two years of experience in a industrial/distribution environment
- Minimum one-year hands-on experience in quality control
- May be required to work alternate shifts as business needs require as well as perform other duties as assigned
- Computer skills - Excel, Microsoft Word, Outlook
- Communication skills (verbal & written)
- Ability to provide training and guidance to other team members
- Know applicable safety rules and regulations and the hazards of the workplace
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
