Groundskeeper (Full Time)

We are currently looking to fill a full-time Groundskeeper position at the University of Arkansas in Fort Smith. This is a great opportunity to join our team and contribute to maintaining the beautiful grounds on campus.

  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday from 5:30am to 4:30pm. Please note that the schedule may be subject to changes based on certain circumstances, and more details will be provided during the interview.
  • Requirements: We prefer candidates with experience in groundskeeping, but we are also open to training individuals who are willing to learn and grow in this role.
  • Starting Pay: $13.00 per hour

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and plants on campus, ensuring they are well-cared for and contribute to a pleasant environment for everyone. Your duties will include mowing lawns, trimming bushes, and performing general janitorial tasks to upkeep the appearance of the property and grounds.

  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Providing excellent customer service and reporting any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Performing regular maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns and weeding flowerbeds
- Keeping exterior walkways clear and safe during wintery weather
- Collaborating with the team and maintaining a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Valid Non-CDL Class C driver's license required
