Minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy required. Soliant Health, a prominent healthcare staffing provider, is in search of a committed and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a well-known school district in Taylor, MI, for the upcoming academic year. This is a full-time role that entails on-site work, offering crucial assistance to students in need.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and objectives for students based on their specific requirements.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students to enhance their speech and language abilities.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy strategies as needed.
  • Maintain precise and current documentation of student evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to review student goals and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
  • Valid Michigan state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a school environment or with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Capability to create and implement personalized treatment plans based on student needs.
  • Strong organizational and documentation abilities to maintain accurate records.
