Join the Enterprise AI & Automation team in NVIDIA IT to drive the development of outstanding AI-powered employee productivity solutions to improve employee experience, and business productivity.

As part of this initiative, we are building generative AI-based conversational virtual assistants, copilots for enterprise applications, and other forward-looking solutions across IT and other business functions including sales, HR, and supply chain by using NVIDIA's own technology stack.

As the director of engineering you will lead the engineering team to build and deliver world-class AI-infused employee productivity tools.

You will collaborate with product managers in shaping the vision, building the roadmaps, and delivering world-class products to improve the productivity of NVIDIA employees in various roles.

What you will be doing:


Lead the engineering team to build world-class AI-driven employee productivity tools and automations by instituting software development discipline and agile software development methodologies.

Collaborate with product managers to shape the strategy and roadmaps.

Lead the engineering team to perform requirements analysis, release iteration planning, Git/Jira issue management, CI/CD process development, software development effort estimation, performance analysis, testing, and delivering world-class scalable and reliable software.


Collaborate with other engineering leaders in the employee productivity organization to ensure that your team's roadmaps align with the projects and technical advancements happening with the rest of the organization.

Build and grow a diverse and high performing team.


Leverage NVIDIA's latest AI products and workflows including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval augmented generation (RAG) technologies, GPU-optimized training and inference compute stack, Speech recognition, and other NVIDIA products and AI workflows in building enterprise solutions.


Collaborate with various partners in enterprise business functions in gathering requirements and in crafting and delivering generative AI-infused solutions for NVIDIA.


Drive user studies, product evaluations, and case studies and collaborate with product teams to provide valuable feedback and help improve the products.

Be a reference client for NVIDIA's products in its own enterprise transformation.

What we need to see:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). Preferably a graduate degree in Computer Science, or other related engineering fields.


10+ overall years of demonstrated experience in engineering leadership positions in building and shipping customer facing or employee facing products resulting in significant business impact.


4+ years of demonstrated hands-on engineering leadership in building AI-infused products involving Machine Learning, generative AI, traditional deep learning, and statistical machine learning techniques.

Deep expertise in computer science and an insatiable curiosity to keep learning. Ability to guide the team in making informed, well-analyzed, prudent, and practical technical decisions.

A proven track record of delivering complex, scalable, and reliable software by leading and mentoring talented cross-functional engineers.

Strong experience in building web applications and managing containerized application deployments which run in Public Clouds such as AWS.

An elevated sense of ownership and focus on driving business value. A leadership style focused on building relationships, establishing trust with diverse colleagues, executive stakeholders, and business partners.

Ability to prioritize multiple projects at once and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Expertise in managing release workflows for large distributed applications.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Hands on prototyping skills in Python. Can build and deploy containerized software on Cloud.

Proven hands-on expertise and familiarity of working with LLMs, RAGs, open-source frameworks such as Lang Chain, and Langflow.

Excellent writing skills to write, and publish case studies, and papers.

Familiarity with NVIDIA's products, GPU-optimized compute stack, familiarity with NVIDIA software strategy & products.

The base salary range is 284,000 USD - 425,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.

You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
