Join Us as a Software Engineer on the Trading Strategies Team: Akuna is seeking Software Engineers passionate about low latency trading. Working closely with Traders and Researchers, you will be involved in the analysis, design, implementation, testing, and delivery of the firm's trading strategies. Your main objective is to create software solutions that utilize extensive data to execute sophisticated, high-speed strategies, gaining a competitive edge in the market.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and deployment of trading strategies utilizing modern C++ technologies
  • Apply in-depth technical expertise in areas like parallel programming, trading systems, networking, and performance analysis
  • Engage in hands-on work, producing detailed technical solutions and high-level architectural designs
  • Take on leadership roles in project and team management
  • Develop software following Agile methodologies and contemporary best practices
  • Collaborate with Traders and Researchers to craft and enhance high-performance, low latency trading strategies

Desired Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in building efficient, scalable applications using modern C++14 and newer versions
  • Background in developing trading strategies or a strong interest in financial markets
  • Proficiency in leveraging data for decision-making
  • Extensive knowledge of distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms
  • Solid grasp of multi-threaded/multi-core programming concepts
  • Natural collaborator with exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent
