Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain job costing initiatives
  • Prepare forecasts and track development costs to ensure projects stay on budget
  • Insure accuracy of financial/job cost information
  • Manage construction draws, lien wavers
  • Progress Billing
  • Posting Payments
  • Review subcontracts and purchase agreements and verify all documentation is received
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Sales and inventory reports
  • Month end and year end closing reports
  • Maintain general ledger
  • Assist Director of Finance with projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred or equivalent education and experience
  • 3+ years of construction accounting experience required
  • Job costing experience is a must
  • Experience with construction accounting software
  • Excellent communication skills and initiative
