Float Teacher

Little Tykes Learning Center in Portage is hiring a part-time teacher to work with our toddlers and preschoolers at our Valleywood location.

We are looking for applicants with the following skills; leadership qualities, motivated, organized, and appreciates the rewards of working with children.

We are willing to train the right person for the job if you have strong work ethics and good communication skills.

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through playbased learning.
• Ensure the wellbeing and welfare of all children in the classroom.
• Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with lead teacher and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Ability to assist in a classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum framework is a plus.
• Experience in daycare setting is a plus.
