Position Description

Join the Data Center Power and Control Division Starline Team in Canonsburg, PA as a Driver/Shipper at Legrand, where you'll be responsible for safely transporting materials using company vehicles like a 26-foot box truck and Conestoga truck between vendor warehouses and the manufacturing facility. Experience with delivery trucks is a must.

What Will You Do?

• Load and unload materials for delivery.
• Transport products to vendors and between Legrand warehouses.
• Assist in the packaging area when the truck is not scheduled.
• Properly pack customer orders using Syteline.
• Use computer programs such as Syteline and the Internet.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
• Participate in cross-training within the plant.
• Operate forklifts, Reach-trucks, and cranes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of shipping department experience preferred.
• Forklift truck experience is a plus.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Experience in operating trucks, CDL preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to operate forklifts and Reach-trucks.
• High attention to detail.
• DOT physical required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to work occasional overtime.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:

• Requires personal protective equipment in manufacturing areas.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift and carry up to 25lbs.
