Overview:


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Outpatient Facility in Indianpolis.

The Executive Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's operations, including strategic planning, program development, financial management, regulatory compliance, and staff supervision.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, particularly in the field of substance use disorder treatment, along with exceptional leadership and communication skills.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the organization's mission and goals.

Provide visionary leadership to drive innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery.

Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability among staff members.

Program Development and Management:
Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive substance use disorder treatment programs.

Ensure that programs are evidence-based, culturally competent, and responsive to the needs of diverse populations.

Monitor program outcomes and make adjustments as needed to optimize effectiveness and efficiency.

Financial Management:
Develop and manage the facility's annual budget, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability.

Monitor financial performance against budget projections and take corrective action as necessary.

Identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost containment to support the organization's financial viability.

Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations governing substance use disorder treatment facilities.

Stay informed about changes in regulations and accreditation standards and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Prepare for and participate in regulatory inspections and audits as required.

Staff Supervision and Development:
Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.

Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to staff members.

Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Community Engagement and Partnerships:
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community stakeholders, including healthcare providers, social service agencies, government entities, and advocacy organizations.

Represent the organization in relevant community forums, meetings, and events to raise awareness and promote collaboration.


Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations that enhance the organization's ability to meet the needs of individuals with substance use disorders.


Qualifications:
Master's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, social work, or a related field (Doctoral degree preferred).


Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in healthcare administration, preferably in the field of substance use disorder treatment.

Strong knowledge of substance use disorder treatment principles, practices, and evidence-based interventions.

Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, program development, financial management, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders and build consensus around shared goals.

Licensed or eligible for licensure as a healthcare administrator or clinical professional in the state of Indiana.
