Position Available:
Looking to hire an additional phlebotomist to our team. As a Mobile Phlebotomist, your role is crucial in the efficient handling, documentation, and transport of specimens. Beyond that, you'll offer compassionate patient care, recognizing the human element behind each sample.
Responsibilities:
- Input patient and specimen data accurately into the lab system.
- Correctly label specimens.
- Ensure proper specimen handling, storage, and transportation.
- Maintain detailed records following protocols.
- Collaborate with team members for smooth workflow.
- Drive safely to collect specimens.
- Use smartphone and tablet for data management.
- Conduct blood draws following safety guidelines.
- Maintain clean work environment and infection control.
- Interact compassionately with patients during collections.
- Stay updated on phlebotomy best practices.
- Other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience required.
- Previous mobile phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Leadership experience a plus.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Data entry experience desired.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Basic computer proficiency.
Required Licenses:
- Valid driver's license.
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician license preferred.
- Auto insurance required.
Additional Information:
- Ideal start date: Upon finding the right candidate.
- Work location: Denver, CO, and surrounding areas.
- Hourly pay: $19-21 per hour.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 0700 to 1530.
Benefits:
- Mileage Reimbursement (67 cents per mile).
- Health, vision, and dental insurance.
- 21 PTO days per year for full-time employees.
- 7 paid holidays and 401k.
