Job Title: Radiography Clinical Supervisor

Overview:

This individual will act as a back-up Supervisor as needed and oversee student clinical experiences linked to the Radiography program and medical centers, ensuring compliance with practicum policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • - Associates Degree in Radiography (Minimum)
  • - Graduation from a JCERT approved school of radiography (Minimum)
  • - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration (Minimum)
  • - Bachelor Degree (Desired)
  • - Evidence of continuing education (Desired)
  • Experience:
  • - Two (2) years of post-certification professional experience (Minimum)
  • - Four (4) to Five (5) years experience as a radiographer (Desired)
  • Abilities and Skills:
  • - Willingness and ability to pursue relevant courses for continued professional growth (Minimum)
  • - Desire and ability to closely support students in providing essential skills for a joint hospital/college radiography program (Minimum)
  • - Interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students, staff, faculty, affiliate hospital staff, and the public (Minimum)
  • - Developed organizational and communication skills (Minimum)
  • - Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment (Minimum)
  • - Possession of a valid driver's license (Minimum)

Responsibilities:

  • - Provide supervision and assistance to students during clinic practicum, ensuring clinical competencies are met (Essential)
  • - Integrate practicum education phases with classroom and lab objectives in collaboration with relevant parties (Essential)
  • - Ensure compliance with established rules and guidelines by both students and staff (Essential)
  • - Review student images for accuracy and quality (Essential)
  • - Monitor student scheduling and attendance, reporting to the Clinical Director (Essential)
  • - Maintain student records and keep updated on professional development (Essential)
  • - Assist in organizing student clinical schedules and ensuring radiation safety practices are followed (Essential)
  • Physical Standards and Special Job Features:
  • - Involves lifting due to patient positioning and moving radiological equipment
  • - Some travel between College and clinic sites may be required
  • - Travel will necessitate the use of the employee's own vehicle
  • - Required clearances before employment can start: PA State Background check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI fingerprint clearances

  • Pay Transparency:

    $30.00/hour
