Description of the Position:
(Purpose of the Position):

To assist the varsity softball team with day-to-day duties, on practice and game days.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Practice Days (when available):

  • Assist in setting up/breaking down practice
  • Feeding and collecting balls for reps
  • Assist in running/pitching front toss in some offensive drills
  • Filming when needed
  • Recording/tracking/charting certain aspects of practice
Game days (when available):

  • Getting the bat list ready and assisting in bat testing
  • Keeping score on the iPad/teaching athletes how to do the same
  • In game filming responsibilities
  • In game live tweeting (if applicable)
  • Assisting in field maintenance between games
