Farm Supervisor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team.

As a Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily farm operations, managing a team of farm workers, and ensuring the successful growth and maintenance of pastures and hay land.

Feed and provide care for beef cattle, pigs, chickens, sheep, goats and donkeys.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate farm activities
• Train and manage a team of farm workers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Managing feeding/watering of animals
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition
• Maintain the property, such as mowing, weed wacking, ground maintenance
• Perform basic math calculations for measuring quantities of seeds, fertilizers, or other materials
• Operate heavy equipment for tasks
• Utilize hand tools for various farming activities
• Inform the manager of equipment repairs or arrange for maintenance when necessary
• Assist with heavy lifting and physical labor as required
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Proven experience in farm management or a related field
• Strong knowledge of farm machinery, power tools, and hand tools
• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring quantities of materials
• Ability to work with livestock
• Capable of performing equipment repairs or arranging for maintenance
• Physically fit and able to handle heavy lifting and perform manual labor
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills

Qualifications:

• Solid background in farming, agriculture and farm machinery
• Experience in animal handling, animal husbandry, and animal care
• Familiarity with power tools and maintenance tasks
• Have flexibility with daily tasks
• Capability for heavy lifting

Note:
All positions at our company are paid positions.

Pay:
$ $22.00 per hour
