  • Operating Hand Power Tools

Required Education and Experience:

  • Ability to understand and work with blueprints, sketches, and technical manuals for welding purposes
  • Demonstrating a strong work ethic and the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and welding metal as per specifications
  • Skilled in welding using techniques like SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW
  • Experience working in a dynamic environment with deadlines
  • Familiarity with the Ship repair industry
  • Eligibility for RAPID Gate/DBIDS and TWIX credentials

Working Conditions:

  • Working in varied conditions including noisy, hot, and cold environments
  • May need to work on projects on ships, rigs, and confined spaces
  • Require protective gear like hearing, eye, and head protection
  • Work may involve standing on different surfaces, bending, crouching, and climbing
