Our organization provides a diverse range of human services to over 1,000 children, 600 families, and numerous adults across Upstate New York annually. We are dedicated to offering hope, promoting growth, and enhancing the well-being of the individuals and families under our care.

Responsibilities:
As a Psychiatric Consultant, your role will involve providing essential psychiatric consultation services for the Day Treatment programs. Your tasks will include:
- Delivering professional psychiatric services
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and treatment oversight
- Participating in treatment team meetings and contributing to behavioral/treatment plans
- Preparing reports and maintaining accurate documentation using electronic health record systems
Requirements:
- Licensed Psychiatrist in New York State with NYS Board Licensure
- Professional Liability Insurance
- Familiarity with DSM V diagnostic criteria
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Business Workspace Suite, and secure Internet practices
- Excellent clinical skills and time management abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and capacity for empathy
- Ability to maintain strict client confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements
- Pass required pre-employment background checks, including fingerprinting
