The Medical University of South Carolina is looking for a top-notch pediatrician to join their team at MUSC Health - Orangeburg in South Carolina. This role involves working in a Level I/II practice and collaborating with MUSC physicians in Charleston through Telehealth technology to provide care for newborns in high risk deliveries.
About the Position:- Seeking candidates who are Board Certified in Pediatrics with a minimum of 5 years of experience
- Inpatient Coverage in Level I/II Nursery (ADC 1-2)
- 14 (24-hour) shifts per month
- Shifts from 8am to 5pm on-site with on-call availability from home after 5pm (within 30 minutes)
- Call Room available for physicians living outside a 30-minute radius
- Must be proficient in handling patients of 32 weeks and above, resuscitation, CPAP, IVs, managing ventilators, and more
- Experience in circumcisions preferred
- Strong leadership skills desired
