Job Description

Looking for a skilled Tool and Die Maker to assemble, align, and maintain current tooling utilized in production dies. Competitive compensation and benefits package.

Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities.
  • Construct and comprehend engineering of various new dies: Progressive, Draw, CI, etc.
  • Set up and operate tool room equipment with minimal supervision.
  • Collaborate effectively with the production department and die ship personnel.
  • Capable of independently handling most repair tasks.
  • Read and interpret all die drawings and piece part prints.
  • Work on the production floor with little to no assistance.
  • Support CI Technicians in the CI department.
  • Create CI dies and small progressive dies with minimal guidance.
  • Fabricate replacement parts for CI and progressive dies based on prints or existing parts.
  • Proficient in using precision measuring equipment.
  • Apply comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Possess fundamental understanding of Wire EDM, CNC, and Jig Grinding capabilities to optimize project flow.
  • Configure punch press and aid Press Operators on the press floor.
  • Skillful in center, flat, and form grinding.
  • Operate all Tool Room equipment: Mill, Drill, Lathe, Grinders, etc.
  • Perform heat treatment of die details.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Fabricate and upkeep tools and dies following blueprints, sketches, or verbal instructions.
  • Proficient in utilizing precision measuring equipment.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma.

2. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Tool and Die Making.
