Description:
Community School of the Arts (CSA) with a vibrant Suzuki and Prep program seeks an additional guitar instructor.
Established in 1970, CSA is a school of nearly 600 students, 26 faculty and 2 staff affiliated with Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL.
Duties:
Teach private and group lessons, assist with organization of student concerts, recitals and performances, and school promotional program.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelor of Music Degree
Suzuki training through book 1 required, willingness to pursue further training in the near future.
2 years teaching experience or advanced pedagogy or performance degree.
Commitment to the Suzuki philosophy and continued growth as teacher and musician.
Willingness to work in a team environment.
Salary:
Teachers are part-time employees and are paid at an hourly rate based on training level and years of experience.
