Coffee Memorial Blood Center is looking for qualified candidates to provide a safe and enjoyable blood donation experience for donors.

Applicants need a high school degree or GED, college classes are a plus. This role offers EXCEPTIONAL PAID on-the-job training with no prior experience needed.

The phlebotomist should demonstrate excellent customer service, professionalism, and technical skills. The ideal candidate must have a flexible schedule, be punctual, reliable, detail-oriented, and a team player. Requirements include reliable transportation, a working telephone, ability to stand for extended periods, and lift 40 lbs regularly.

Location: Amarillo, TX

Pay: Competitive pay based on experience; additional pay for technical school certification, associate, or bachelor's degrees; extra pay for Spanish fluency; EXCEPTIONAL PAID on-the-job training; $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year

Days and Hours: Varied based on blood drive schedules

Primary Responsibilities:

• Handle registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, and record keeping related to blood services
• Follow all procedures to meet quality standards for blood collection
• Support supervisor with daily paperwork
• Report any issues promptly
• Assess donor needs and provide information
• Teach donors about blood donation
• Other duties as assigned
