Manufacturing/Process/Design Engineer, Expert

Working as a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing production processes and optimizing efficiency levels. Your focus will be on minimizing losses and maximizing yield, uptime, and overall performance. By utilizing the scientific method and design of experiments approach, you will identify areas for improvement, implement effective solutions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Collaborating with various departments, you will drive improvement projects and contribute to the plant's future state roadmap under the direct supervision of the Plant Manager. In this role, a strong dedication to safety, environmental responsibility, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present improvement plans based on data analysis to justify and implement capital projects for enhancing processes and equipment.
  • Identify improvement opportunities to support ongoing projects and the plant's future development.
  • Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to enhance equipment availability and reliability.
  • Support seamless new product introductions by applying engineering principles and facilitating scale-up activities, process enhancements, and departmental collaborations.
  • Enhance production processes to reduce losses through strategic analysis, troubleshooting, and implementation of improvement measures.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and leverage process analytical technologies for effective process control.
  • Review and develop departmental procedures to ensure comprehensive documentation of process improvements while upholding safety and quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline (Chemical/Process or Mechanical concentration).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in site manufacturing/operations, process engineering, or related roles within manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) practices.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Green Belt certification is desirable; Black Belt certification is a plus.
