Instrument Tech

Is responsible for the care, preparation, and maintenance of instruments, equipment, inventory and supplies in CSR and Clean Room of MOR.

Cleans, decontaminates, identifies, inspects and assembles instrumentation for use in a sterile procedure. Sterilizes items and completes quality control checks as required. Ensures proper inventory levels. Assembles Surgical Case Carts. Tracks loaner instrumentation as needed.

Education/Experience:

The above knowledge, skills and abilities are normally acquired through the successful completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Must possess effective reading and communication skills. Must possess a minimum of 1 year hospital sterilization or related experience.
