Position: Groundskeeper

As a Groundskeeper, your main role involves ensuring the community's grounds, amenities, and buildings are impeccably maintained for residents and visitors. You will also support Maintenance Technicians with various maintenance tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preserving the property's curb appeal meticulously
  • Regularly clearing trash from office and community areas
  • Preparing apartments for new residents by ensuring cleanliness and maintenance
  • Assisting with maintenance tasks in a timely manner
  • Contributing to the cleanliness of apartments and common areas
  • Aiding in snow/ice removal and storm cleanup
  • Assisting with repairs and troubleshooting
  • Reporting maintenance issues promptly
  • Representing the community professionally
  • Communicating effectively with residents and team members
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Providing updates on scheduled work
  • Performing other assigned duties

Experience & Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license
  • Residence within 30 miles of the property (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of household repair and maintenance
  • On-call availability

Job Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong multitasking abilities
  • Capability to work in varying conditions
  • Able to lift over 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in using repair tools
  • Consistent attendance
