Function: Engineering and Engineering Services

Job Summary:

Bringing process engineering expertise to enhance safe and eco-friendly operations at nitrogen fertilizer plants through collaboration. Working closely with different departments to ensure solutions align with business goals.

Job Description:

Key Job Elements:

  • Monitor and report on operational performance of process units to optimize plant efficiency and safety.
  • Evaluate process and equipment performance to identify and resolve issues, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Optimize process performance through troubleshooting, data analysis, and process tests.
  • Lead process engineering studies and support the design of new processes and installations.
  • Contribute to projects enhancing production capacity, energy efficiency, and safety.
  • Review documents and provide process engineering support for capital projects.
  • Participate in safety studies and incident investigations to implement solutions for process safety and EHS.
  • Support Maintenance and Operations during turnarounds, providing process engineering recommendations.
  • Maintain effective communication and professional relationships across departments and personnel.

Position Requirements:

  • BS degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of process engineering experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, or oil and gas industry.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an operating chemical facility environment, including field data collection.
  • Willingness to work alternative schedules to support operations.
