Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a Registered Echo Technician PRN to join our team who will foster an environment of teamwork, quality and safety for our patients. What You Will Do In This Role:

  • You will perform echoes, imaging, dobutamine tests and other cardiology tests for the purpose of diagnosing possible cardiac conditions.
  • You will transport patients, distribute final reports, maintain data management system for echocardiograms, and processes documentation of tests performed.
  • You will prepare patient and room and maintain and complete appropriate equipment disinfection between patients.
  • You will work as a part of a collaborative team with other hospital staff to deliver a team approach to each patient.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Registered in one of the following: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, or Registered Vascular Technologist from ARDMS; or Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Specialist from CCI is required.
  • 2-3 year of experience in performing echocardiography studies is required.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
