Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in collaboration with a metal manufacturer in the Fountain Inn, SC region, is looking for production operators and machine operators to join their team at a climate-controlled facility that provides various benefits including full benefits, 401K, and profit sharing.

Job Role Description:


Pay Rate:
$17

Schedule:

2nd Shift 3:00pm - as late as 2:00am Monday-Friday

3rd Shift 11pm-7am Sunday - Thursday

  • Engage in activities to assist continuous improvement
  • Carry out assigned duties
  • Transport parts and products to appropriate locations
  • Handle parts ranging from 10-35 lbs in weight at times
  • Stand, walk, and move within the work area
  • Perform regular operational checks for safety
  • Conduct quality checks and ensure quality standards are met
  • Support quality and maintenance staff with production-related issues
  • Maintain cleanliness in the work area on a daily basis
  • Repair products as necessary
  • Identify and report problems, set objectives, monitor progress, and collaborate with teams to implement solutions
  • Notify Team Leader or Supervisor of any issues or concerns
  • Basic understanding of Quality Management System and Environmental Management System standards
  • Stay alert for potential issues
  • Train other operators and maintain training documentation
  • Demonstrate self-direction and promote continuous improvement through active participation and feedback
  • Keep the area clean and organized, ensuring it is free from clutter and safety risks - 6S

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent

Experience:
Previous experience in manufacturing is advantageous.

Training and Skills:

  • Ability to conduct visual quality inspections
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to written work instructions and safety protocols
  • Strong verbal communication skills demonstrated in peer interactions
  • Capacity to work independently at multiple stations as part of the production team
  • Capability to lift/pull/push loads of 10-35 lbs at a required pace
  • Capability to stand upright for up to 5 hours consecutively
  • Ability to operate production line equipment such as weld tools and rivet guns
  • Maintain a consistent attendance record
