Pay Range: $75,000 to $85,000

Overview

Come grow with us by joining our team as a SQL Developer to support our Business Intelligence team in our Indianapolis office In this role, you will play a critical role for the company and will work alongside other professionals within the team and other departments. You'll be creating and maintaining datasets to support the data needs of all departments, as well as the BI team. Excellent Microsoft SQL skills is the core competency for this role. You'll be dealing with data warehousing and will help drive our overall data strategy to ensure reliable, robust, and accurate access to our business data from multiple data sources.

Responsibilities

Below is an overview of the duties and responsibilities you would take on in this role:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
  • Review and understand ongoing business reporting requirements
  • Analyze and optimize existing SQL queries for performance improvements
  • Suggest new queries, views, and stored procedures to handle business data requirements
  • Develop procedures and scripts for any required data transformation or migrations
  • Aid in data integrity and cleansing efforts
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience as a Microsoft SQL Developer or similar role
  • Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming and Microsoft SQL Server and database architecture
  • Demonstrated experience with complicated joins, nested queries, stored procedures, and views in Microsoft SQL
  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a business or data focus, or equivalent work experience
  • Solid foundation of organizational and communication skills needed to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ETL processes and/or data modeling
  • Experience supporting Business Intelligence, reporting, and dashboarding data requests and requirements
  • Data Warehouse development/management experience
  • Relevant industry certifications

Physical Requirements

  • Work will be performed in an office setting
  • May be required to sit in long intervals and climb stairs
  • Must have good manual dexterity
