Position Summary


The Emergency Services Technician Lab is an exciting opportunity on the MultiCare Off Campus Emergency Department team, offering a supportive role assisting practitioners with patient care and executing administrative and clinical procedures.

Working in collaboration, you will ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experience.

Responsibilities

  • You will perform direct patient care as directed
  • You will engage your critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
  • Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds
Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current Washington state certification/licensure as a CNA or NA-R, or successful completion of EMT Training Course
  • EMT will be required to obtain NA-R within ninety 90) days of hire
  • Medical Assistant-Registered Certification (must apply within seven (7) days of hire
  • Must obtain Medical Assistant-Registered Certification within sixty (60) days
  • MA-P credential may be accepted in lieu of MA-R, per department requirements
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Previous experience as a CNA, NA-R, corpsman, or EMT, in an emergency department, prehospital, or acute care setting within the last three (3) years

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position.

The pay scale is $ $34.11 USD.

However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to:
skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
