SUMMARY:


Responsible for achieving the restaurant's annual sales and profit plan by directing the daily operations and maintenance, while ensuring adherence to policies and best practices. Key responsibilities include recruiting and training staff, overseeing financial performance, managing customer satisfaction, maintaining quality standards, driving sales & marketing efforts, and facilitating communications with employees, vendors, and corporate support staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure successful execution of quality operating systems
  • Evaluate performance and handle wage adjustments for hourly team members
  • Initiate disciplinary action for hourly team members and assistant managers
  • Oversee store Profit and Loss statement
  • Supervise subordinate staff to maintain excellent customer service and operational standards
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Recruit, hire, and train Assistant Managers, Shift/Team Leaders, and hourly team members
  • Maintain staffing levels to optimize restaurant operations
  • Execute accounting functions and comply with internal audit guidelines
  • Achieve budgeted sales and EBITDA objectives
  • Conduct performance reviews and evaluations
  • Implement company marketing programs
  • Administer various administrative tasks including HR activities and reporting

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee a restaurant staff of more than 15 team members and 1-2 managers

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must have an Associates or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Hospitality. Must possess strong problem-solving abilities, ability to prioritize tasks, understand Profit & Loss statements, and focus on exceptional guest service.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 5 years in a restaurant environment with career progression, and 3 years as a General Manager in a quick casual or quick serve setting. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and back of house restaurant systems is essential.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Effective written and oral communication skills, customer service proficiency, and ability to perceive and respond to others' needs.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Basic computer skills required, experience with Excel preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Demonstrate the ability to handle the physical requirements of the job, including sitting, standing, talking, and manual tasks.



WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Temperature-controlled restaurant environment with low to moderate noise levels.

Computer, fax, calculator, copier, phone.
