Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled HVAC-Plumbing Preconstruction Manager to be part of our team based in the stunning Honolulu, HI. The perfect candidate will hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Professional Engineer (PE) license, and at least 8 years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing design, engineering, estimating, and sales. Your role will involve creating and presenting mechanical design concepts and strategies for upcoming projects to general contractors and building owners.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with the preconstruction team to develop creative mechanical design concepts and strategies for HVAC and plumbing systems in upcoming projects.
  • Present cost-efficient and energy-saving mechanical solutions to general contractors, building owners, and project stakeholders.
  • Offer expert advice on mechanical system design, sizing, and layout to improve project efficiency and sustainability.
  • Create accurate estimates and proposals for HVAC and plumbing projects while ensuring competitive pricing.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and eco-friendly solutions to enhance project designs.
  • Establish and nurture strong connections with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate project development and implementation.
  • Manage the preconstruction process from initial concept to final presentation, including budget development.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) is a must.
  • Holding a Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in HVAC and Plumbing design, engineering, estimating, and sales combined.
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to create and introduce innovative design solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to interact effectively with clients, general contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated expertise in optimizing mechanical systems for energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Committed to delivering top-quality work and competitive project estimates.
