SALARY RANGE:

$34,940 to $49,580 (commensurate with experience).

All Chicago MHH's mission is to unite our community and resources to provide solutions that ensure and sustain the stability of home.

On any given night, nearly 6,000 Chicagoans do not have a place to call home. These are our neighbors and together we can ensure that we all have stable homes.

All Chicago MHH prevents and ends homelessness through emergency financial assistance, community partnerships, data analytics, and training and research.

We strengthen our community's collective efforts to prevent and end homelessness, guided by a vision of impact, influence, and inspiration.

As our name implies, All Chicago MHH brings together homeless service providers, non-profit partners, donors, and people with the lived experience of homelessness in a strategic effort to make homelessness history in Chicago.


Position Summary:

The Pre-Housing Associate is a key member of the Rapid Rehousing team.

The Pre-Housing Associate has the central responsibility to provide support to the Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)-funded Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) Program.

Position Responsibilities:


Navigate the housing process for individual program households in coordination with other staff roles, including Chicago Rents staff, Housing Liaisons, Landlords, Case Managers, and other support staff.


  • Facilitate a strong connection between case management staff and landlord partner.
  • Support completion of leasing documentation and lease by case manager and landlord partner.
  • Ensure all necessary movein documentation is complete and added to appropriate databases.
  • Enter initial funding requests into Salesforce system.
  • Identify and uplift opportunities for process improvements, while staying up todate regarding process adjustments.
  • Support data quality and oversight as needed. This may include data entry, tracking, or reporting.
  • Maintain and monitor administrative materials needed to support housing activities.
  • Attend AMEs as an All Chicago representative to assist with keeping Salesforce current with unit and participant information.
  • Respond to calls from homeless and atrisk community members seeking resources and assistance.
  • Participate and support the coordination and administrative activities of internal team meetings, partner meetings, and external CoC meetings.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and partners in written, oral and inperson communication in both groups and at public events.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • A background in social work, homeless services, supportive housing, direct service or equivalent experience is highly preferred
  • Effective writing and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work on timesensitive matters while maintaining progress on longterm projects to ensure deadlines are met both independently and cross collaboratively
  • Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and ability to work effectively with colleagues and community partners with different backgrounds and experiences
  • Understands and applies housing first and trauma informed care approaches
  • Commitment to advancing All Chicago's mission of preventing and ending homelessness in Chicago
