BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER ProDrivers, the largest nationwide company that helps Truck Drivers find Great Jobs, is actively looking for a Business Development Manager in Houston, TX.We know the job market is saturated, so we are not too shy to brag about our culture - we truly believe that People Matter, not just clients, but our employees as well We will support you fully with training, leadership development as well as lots of opportunity for growth.

Transportation knowledge is a plus, but again, we've got a robust in-house developed training program to guide you in all things DOT.

Your Role with the CompanyThe Business Development Manager expands market share through new business development, and sales opportunities, and by providing full end-to-end customer sales and account management.


This includes:
Identifying and developing new business with prospects and existing clientsCold Calling to create interest in ProDrivers Services, as well as generate new business leads and arrange meetingsOwn the relationship with the client
  • Drive the entire sales cycle, manage client questions/escalations, and pursue opportunities to expand the business.
Engaging in pre-call research and planning to gain insights into customer needs and prioritiesBuilding relationships at multiple levels with potential clients via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face meetingsEngaging with decision-makers at all levels of an organization during the buying processProviding consultative account management, post-sales support, and consistent follow-upBackground ProfileStaffing or Transportation background preferredA demonstrable track record of success in B2B salesProven ability to build strong client relationshipsExcellent knowledge of MS Office; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointDemonstrable experience using a CRM platform for businessKnowledge of target market, including prospective clients and geographyFearless, persistent, and motivatedEmploy
