Description: This role plays a key part in manufacturing top-notch blow molding machinery, auxiliary tools, and sub-assemblies. The tasks involve using an array of tools, including power and hand tools, as well as precision tools, to ensure high-quality production.

Experience Level: Intermediate Level
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for adhering to safety standards such as OSHA, MIOSHA, and Company regulations.
  • Construct or fabricate items based on drawings and bill of materials within specified quality and quantity.
  • Offer assistance to customers/vendors through phone or on-site consultations when needed.
  • Perform maintenance or repairs on existing or new equipment as designated.
  • Execute preventative maintenance and uphold cleanliness for safe and efficient operation.
  • Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and production staff to troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
  • Operate power tools and material handling equipment like forklifts and cranes.
  • Utilize personal hand tools effectively.
  • Proficient in working with mainframe computers.
  • Create specifications from basic descriptions and sketch parts or products to be manufactured.
  • Skilled in both metric and inch systems.


Skills:
  • Blueprint interpretation
  • Pneumatics knowledge
  • Understanding of hydraulics
  • Experience in machine building
  • Knowledge of electrical systems
Nice to Have:
  • Forklift operating license
  • Crane safety certification
