Join us as our new Senior Project Engineer

We are looking for another member to join our Engineering Team: a working environment consisting of highly educated, skilled, positive, innovative, and enthusiastic employees.
  • The Senior Project Engineer will operate under the general supervision of the Lead Engineer responsible for the project during day-to-day engineering duties (analyses, reports/document reviews, tendering, etc.) But will also have project derived responsibilities provided by the respective project manager for which the engineer may be assigned. When not working on a specific project under the tutelage of a Lead Engineer, the Senior Engineer will report directly to the Engineering Manager.
  • The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for the safe, cost effective and timely preparation, execution and close out of engineering tasks associated with subsea projects in compliance with relevant specifications and quality standards as specified by Client and/or Company.
  • The Senior Project Engineer will support business development initiatives in the preparation of methodology statements and CRS as requested by the department.
  • Offshore field engineering will be required to gain exposure and the necessary experience to transition to the senior engineering level.
Requirements

Education:

Bachelor of Science Degree in applicable engineering field of study (Civil, Mechanical, Naval Architecture, Ocean, Structural, or equivalent) from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) certified program or international equivalent per ABET Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRAs)

Experience / Knowledge:

4-7 years of engineering experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
General operational working experience in offshore and subsea construction environments such as equipment and/or platform installations, launch and recovery methods for equipment, vessel mobilizations/demobilizations, equipment FAT/SIT/NDT testing, etc.

Experience managing workflow for project technical deliverables

History of completing project technical deliverables on schedule and in compliance with project requirements/design basis

Extensive technical experience planning marine crane lifts including evaluation of crane capacity and lift rigging design
