Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate the CNC VB80 Bender machine to bend various metal materials according to design specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise bending outcomes.
- Conduct routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Inspect finished parts to verify adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Crosstrain in other areas of fabrication, including cutting, welding, and assembly, to support production needs.
- Uphold safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC bending machines is preferred
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Detailoriented with a focus on precision in executing fabrication tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve production targets.
- Familiarity with other fabrication processes such as cutting, welding, and assembly is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problemsolving skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication is preferred.
