The position provides 24 hour coverage making observations of any problems the patient may be experiencing while assuring patient safety in the designated hospital clinical units. Under the direct supervision of the nurse, the candidate must demonstrate ability to quickly make decisions to report changes in patient conditions/situations. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with Dignity Health's mission and policies around safe patient care. Qualifications Minimum High School Diploma/GED American Heart Association Basic Life Support Customer Service & Effective Listening skills requiredPreferred Experience in healthcare desiredPlease be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements
