Job Title: IT Support Technician

Role Overview:

  • Be part of a dynamic team ensuring the technology needs of CGI's members and clients are met
  • Provide essential support to internal and external users through troubleshooting, workstation deployment, and hardware asset management
  • Engage in continuous process improvement and contribute to enhancing customer support services

Responsibilities:

  • Handle incoming phone calls and support requests in a Help Desk environment
  • Support end users by resolving technical issues and working with various stakeholders
  • Manage IT support tickets, deploy computing devices, and maintain inventory
  • Document support procedures and inventory accurately
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel for administrative tasks

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles
  • Proficiency in desktop operating systems, software applications, hardware, and networking
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to work both independently and in a team
  • Strong communication skills and dedication to providing exceptional customer support
  • Passion for technology and ability to adapt to new tools and processes
  • Associate's degree in IT or related field
