A DAY IN THE LIFE Fabricates and welds steel components and repairs on heavy equipment with welding equipment as specified by layouts, drawings or specific needs.

Troubleshoots mechanical and installation problems that supervisors are experiencing and fabricates custom tools/components to resolve construction problem; or locates an outside vendor to fabricate the necessary tools/components.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED High School diploma or GED equivalent; or equivalent combinations of training and experienceWelding certificate usually obtained through a 2-year welding program or a minimum of 5 years of welding and metal fabrication experience.

Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol screenWillingness to travel and relocate to the job site (100% travel)WHAT WILL SET YOU APART Construction experience/previous assembly experience in the solar industryPrefer advanced knowledge of work methods, techniques, materials and tools used in metal fabrication and welding.
