Si, son nuestros amigos de Zscaler , que aterrizaron en Espana hace menos de un ano, y desde entonces, siguen reforzando su equipo en Iberia.

Ya hemos llevado algunas posiciones con ellos, y aunque hoy nos centraremos en contaros la busqueda del nuevo SRE/DevOps , queremos contaros, lo que nos han dicho los manfreditas que ya trabajan desde dentro:

Tras mas de diez anos trabajando en Londres, volver a Valencia para unirme a Zscaler ha sido de lo mejor de este ano tan peculiar.

He encontrado un gran ambiente de trabajo, internacional que no me hace echar de menos la City, y companeros de trabajo con los que comparto el ideal de construir una magnifica plataforma, receptivos a ideas que nos ayuden a mejorar, libertad para explorar soluciones e implementarlas y plena autonomia para gestionar mi trabajo.

Ademas no he tenido impedimentos para seguir usando mi distribucion favorita de Linux, e incrementar mi experiencia con golang, nodejs, kubernetes, etc.

Zscaler es una empresa nacida en el corazon de Silicon Valley, especializada en la seguridad del nuevo centro de gravedad de Internet:
la nube.

Antes de contaros 'que haras' una vez formes parte de este top team , vamos a contaros un poco sobre la historia de Zscaler:La solucion que ideo Appsulate fue crear un escudo entre la web y el usuario: todo el contenido se renderiza en un contenedor aislado, y al usuario solo se le envian los pixeles .

La informacion confidencial, o el codigo danino se queda en el contenedor sin poder salir :
)Como DevOps/SRE vas a colaborar con los equipos desarrollando herramientas para facilitar el desarrollo, despliegues, manejo de infraestructura y automatizacion. Tendras que sacar a relucir toda tu experiencia y conocimientos para ayudar a disenar y llevar a cabo el roadmap de la infraestructura, centrada en escalabilidad, observabilidad y mantenibilidad. Todo ello trabajando codo con codo con el equipo global de SRE.Trabajaras junto con los equipos de QA, ingenieria y operaciones globales para poder entender, implementar y desplegar soluciones integrales de monitorizacion.
Participaras escalando productos en la nube con mucho impacto.
Desarrollaras herramientas para automatizar despliegues y actualizaciones en clientes.

Disenaras, probaras y mantendras la infraestructura de CI/CD.Influiras y gestionaras todos los aspectos de la infraestructura y operaciones de la nube de Zscaler.

Es un equipo pequeno y distribuido, que trabaja de forma rapida y vive a la vanguardia de la ingenieria del software.

Apasionados del open source, pero sin miedo a construir y optimizar cuando sea necesario.

Su filosofia es done is better than perfect, en un entorno donde el ritmo es frenetico, se necesita gente que tome la iniciativa.

Ademas, en este rol trataras con clientes, expertos en cada area, desarrolladores e ingenieros de QA de todo el mundo.

Son una compania que proporciona servicios en base a su cuidadosamente construida plataforma cloud global, por lo que, identificar los potenciales problemas que un cliente podria experimentar antes de que esto suceda es especialmente importante.

Los clientes (incluyendo algunas de las companias mas grandes a nivel mundial) mandan todo el trafico a traves de la plataforma de Zscaler y es por eso que es tan importante que se aseguren de sus servicios funcionan correctamente en su nube y que la propia nube funciona de acuerdo a los SLAs y provee la calidad y confianza de que dependen estos clientes.

Conoceras a los companeros del equipo, lo que hace cada departamento, los retos tecnicos y de negocio.

Tambien te pondras al tanto de cuales son las herramientas que utilizan y cuales son los proyectos en los que estan trabajando.

Backend:
para la mayoria de microservicios con algo de Java, _ no J2EE, este melon lo abriran en los proximos 9-12 meses

Monitorizacion:
Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Grafana, Kibana.

Tienen una cultura DevOps muy desarrollada, automatizan tanto como se puede, y trabajan con metodologias agiles con PSK (Professional Scrum with Kanban) .Son data driven y si toman muy en serio los datos que extraen, incluyendo su propia velocidad, y lo utilizan para mejorar su trabajo diario y como colaboran entre ellos.


Para la comunicacion interna y documentaciones usan:
Google Drive, JIRA, Confluence y Slack.


Trabajaras junto a un equipo de 12 personas de 5 nacionalidades diferentes, trabajando con tecnologias punteras, y bajo el paraguas de una empresa de 1500 personas que no deja de crecer: 150 data centers, con mas de 3500 clientes y que detecta mas de 100 millones de amenazas CADA DIA .No tienen un horario fijo de trabajo.

Su filosofia es que los miembros del equipo sean autonomos, manteniendo una buena comunicacion siempre. Hay que estar disponible cuando se te necesite, y esperan que mantengas tus compromisos con el equipo.
La posicion es 100% remota. Te invitaran a sus ofis de forma puntual, para sentarte con el resto del equipo y tomar alguna paella.
La mayoria del equipo esta en Valencia.

Tienen unas ofis muy molonas en el coworking Wayco Ruzafa , un espacio que primero estuvo destinado a los Cines Goya, despues de 50 anos paso a ser la Libreria Crisol, y hoy, totalmente reformado, es uno de los mejores coworkings de todo Valencia.

Constantin Miroslav (Sr. Principal Software Engineer) Con mas de 15 anos de experiencia en desarrollo, arquitectura y sistemas cloud distribuidos, tanto en startups como en grandes empresas.

Costin era el ingeniero mas senior de Appsulate, y es el tipo de persona con la que puedes hablar de cualquier cosa que tenga algo que ver con la tecnologia.

SRE a tiempo parcial en el equipoFabian Bertetto (Principal Software Engineer) Es el team leader del equipo de infraestructura/DevOps. Con varios anos de experiencia trabajando en infraestructuras cloud de gran escala como tambien en startups.

Trabajaras con el en tu dia a dia ademas del equipo de DevOps actualmente formado por otros tres cracks en todo lo relacionado con devops, cloud y kubernetes, que te acompanaran en los desafios.

)Como minimo unos 3 anos de experiencia trabajando en alguna plataforma cloud (ellos trabajan con AWS) y con pipelines CI/CD.Experiencia con una o mas herramientas de gestion de configuracion y automatizacion de infraestructura como Ansible, Terraform, Puppet o Chef.
Experiencia con contenedores (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes).Habilidades de comunicacion en ingles, tanto escritas como verbales.

Haber trabajado con uno o mas lenguajes de los siguientes:
Python, Bash, Perl o GoLang.
