Role Overview:


The IT Staff Auditor II is accountable for assessing global IT processes and information security controls across all UPS business units. This individual's primary responsibility is to pinpoint various IT risks associated with the overall computer control environment.

As part of this role, you will conduct tests of varying complexity on the IT control environment, covering networks, operating systems, databases, computer operations, data security administration, and physical security of data centers. Moreover, you will perform tests of medium to high complexity on business cycle and IT application controls. These evaluations are carried out for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and risk-based IT audits.

The incumbent must be capable of working independently during audit assessments to verify that key IT controls are well-structured, implemented, and functioning effectively.

Responsibilities also include acquiring audit data, selecting samples, conducting tests, and documenting the performed tasks using an internal web-based work paper tool.
