This tech giant is on the lookout for talented data engineers to join their data ingestion team for the establishment of their new Integrated Data Warehouse.

In this position, you will review and analyze user stories, High level Solution Designs, source systems, Source to Target Mappings, and then write code to ingest data into different database platforms and services.

Once data is ingested, your responsibility will be to ensure data accuracy according to requirements, then create scripts to load the data from the DB/Data Lakes into the staging area.

Following that, you will design scripts to extract, transform, and load the data into the core tables based on the logic provided in the source to target mapping documents. You will then create scripts to import data from the core table.

Afterward, you will generate QA test scenarios, conduct QA testing, including functional, End to End, and data validation testing.

You will supervise production deployments and support the AppOps team during deployment, data loads, troubleshooting, and regular production break fixes activities, as necessary.

As part of this DevOps role, you will engage in daily standups, share project status updates with the DevOps Track lead and Scrum Master, as well as communicate with management and stakeholders.

  • Data Ingestion and Processing - Analyze various sources and develop code to ingest data into Hadoop Data Lake
  • Data Cleansing - Ensure accuracy and completeness of data and clean up data if necessary
